At this stage we simply need to know which nations/cultures are interested in participating and being represented.  Models for funding are being explored and will include sponsorship, charity fundraising, ethical industry backing, government investment, media investment, advertising and sales of product and services through the foundation and our partner organisations.

Involvement is not restricted to sailing particiaption  in the Race for the Oceans; it may include one or more of the following possibilities and more opportunities are developing. :

  • Your nation as a landing point in the campaign for the vision.
  • Contribution of stories from your culture for the children’s project.
  • Documentary information for the ocean awareness campaign.
  • A landing point in the round the world race, holding festivals and races.
  • A participating team in the race for the oceans.
  • A place to provide facilities for the boat building.
