The Race for the Oceans Campaign is a tour of entertainment, education and call to action, which includes a programme of world famous regattas;  with guest celebrity appearances creating that bit of extra magic and added excitement to our events.

At each point in the tour we will invite the public to the boat, and sometimes additionally to an accompanying marquee, for:

• Environmental Talks
• Film screenings, Storytelling and Musical events
• Parties & Corporate Hospitality
• Product Promotions
• School Events
• Call to Action, Campaigns, Petitions etc
• Filming of Local Stories for the Ocean Story Film Collection

Prior to our arrival at each destination we will be liaising with marinas, local press, radio and television to promote our activities. We will, according to location, invite the general public, fellow mariners, schools and businesses to come and participate in the various events and entertainments.

There will also be a few “prestige” ticketed events and fundraisers.

THE CREW

The crew will comprise of experienced sailors, environmentalists, teachers, indigenous artists/storytellers along with film makers. There will also be guest star appearances at key events throughout the programme.
